It's getting warmer outside. The end of the school year is quickly approaching. And, just days away is KPREP. It's not a great combination, but the 6th graders are busy getting ready to show the test what they're made of!
KPREP is just 8 school days away. This week students went over the testing blueprint to better understand what's expected of them. They became better familiar with the test parts, types of questions they'll be asked, and pacing themselves. I encourage you to ask your child about the testing blueprint and the strategies he or she will use on the test.
This week and the beginning of next will continue the Year in Review Unit. We will practice our reading and writing strategies, as well as, apply the unit vocabulary they learned over the year.
The following is the outlook for May 4-8:
Monday- Thursday- Year in Review Activities. Work should be completed in allotted time in class- if additional time is needed, students will need to complete for homework.
Friday- Unit Vocab Test. Notes attached.
Be safe. Have a great weekend,
Mrs. Burge
